The Challenge
Dermavital managed a catalog of over 1,000 products across skincare, makeup, and fragrance using only Instagram. This manual process forced customers to scroll through endless highlights and wait for DM replies to place orders. As the business grew, the lack of a searchable database became a major hurdle for both the owners and their shoppers. The instagram based system also required taking orders manually through DMs which was time consuming and not scalable.

Our Approach
We built a custom e-commerce system from the ground up using SvelteKit. To solve the discovery problem, we developed a filtering architecture that allows users to sort the 1,000+ SKU inventory by brand, category, or skin concern. Because this was a bespoke build, we were able to integrate a full suite of back-office tools including an order management system, a refund processing engine, loyalty rewards, real-time inventory tracking, and sales analytics.

The Result
The new site enabled 24/7 ordering and removed the bottleneck of manual order entry. By introducing advanced search and filtering, we reduced support inquiries and created a faster path to purchase. The brand now has a centralized system capable of handling their growing multi-brand collection without constant oversight.

The Evolution
Since the initial launch, we have added several new features to improve business operations. These updates include an upgraded restocking system, a custom discount code system, and several new admin tools to help the business grow.
